After living in the district for 4 years I moved to Arlington and overall the management here is better than any place I've lived in DC. The front desk staff is great, as long as you are respectful of them. The only time I've seen them talk to a tenant with attitude is when the tenant him or herself is rude. The behind the scenes management is good, particularly Douglas. If you have any problems he is the one to go to, genuinely concerned that your experience is a positive one. The maintenance staff is great too, things are fixed quickly and accurately. Overall great place to live. <P>

Some of the reviews I've read are so old they are outdated. Lincoln Towers has a new management and maintenance staff, that have been very responsive and helpful. I've never been treated with disrespect. The building has been constantly improving because I don't have any water issues or problems with trash smells. It's so convenient to the metro, shops, and restaurants. The rent prices are competitive with the surrounding apartment buildings. No complaints here! <P>

lived there for a year and absolutely loved it. their bathrooms are the largest i've ever seen in any apartments. maintenance is responsive and courteous. i've compared their prices with neighboring buildings and found them to be a better deal considering the age of the building and appearance. there are only two bad things about this apartment building: front desk and noise level. the front desk personnel can be rude and at times over the line. about noise level - i've never experienced a moment of complete solitude at home during daytime, mon-fri. at all other times it's not so bad. oh, and don't forget to check with the management and get in writing agreement regarding rent increases after your lease is due! <P>
