So while I lived there a kitty fell from a window 2 or 3 stories high. Wonder how a kid might do?
The ATM machine was stolen from the lobby during a time when the concierge was "operating 24 hours" It was found in the garage abandoned.
Then there was the GUY THAT FELL 4 STORIES TO HIS DEATH.http://www.arlnow.com/...
The biggest problem with all these events the building management never provided notice to the residents and prohibited staff from discussing it with us. Even better they have not in any of the instances attempted to remedy the defects.
I called the building inspectors because of a power outage that left all of the common areas INCLUDING STAIRWELLS DARK. Still not sure if they have fully remedied the inspectors requirements. So, buy a flashlight.
It was better when they limited the number of residents per unit. It kept the residence to those that could afford it and of a certain age. Now it is younger more college age or just post college age because they are rooming up. Makes for fun fights and broken beer bottles in the grass over the weekends.
The coffee is no longer 24 hours. Just in the AM...so don't work late. Also, parking is good so long as they tow otherwise you may find for your $100 a month you have no place to park if you are out past 10PM. And it doesn't matter if you get promises in writing from the management office there has been a huge turn over- the ones with the brains left. Thus if there is a way to make more money by ignoring other promises written or oral they will. I reiterate do NOT trust even amounts provided in writing. - This is most worrisome.
Pretty good area.... just a block beyond the jail.
