Safety - If cars were not broken into on a bi-monthly basis, safety and parking would have been 5 stars.
Maintenance is quite responsive; however, I believe they are bogged down by management taskings or bureacracy that do not allow them to completely complete workorder requests for residence.
Noise - You can hear nearly everyone that walks around your apartment due to walkways made out of wood beams.
I would still refer people to the community though. There are restaurants in the near, a library and cinema for entertainment, and a grocery store for substance.

The yearly rental increases are ridiculous and really is a tremendous downside to renting at this property. After the first year rent special management does nothing to incent tenants to remain. The property management renewal/ customer loyalty policy definitely needs review. Experienced management at the top of their game would know that it is better and more cost effective to retain loyal customers who have proven performance of paying rent on-time than having to market to new unknown tenants every 6 to 12 months. But I suppose this model works for them because every year there is a ridiculous increase in rent until you are forced to move which I am sure I will be doing at my next renewal.

Great complex to live at. Staff is alway courteous and maintenance is on top of their game. Apartments were remodeled in 2004/2005 and look great. Work out facility is complete, always clean, and always available for use. Great location, 100 yards to Shirlington Village restaurants. <P>
