Review for Holly Point Apartments

I lived here for 2 years and it was great! I transferred overseas for 2 years, then moved back to Holly Point after receiving orders back to Norfolk. The place CHANGED and NOT for the better. The apartments are OVERPRICED, the neighborhood is going to crap, and it's not a very safe place to live anymore. Just across the tracks, which is less than a 1/4 of a mile from the apartments, is the ghetto. People walk in and out of the premises as they see fit. Security doesn't stop them. While I'm on the subject, sometimes security is there, sometimes they aren't. Half the time, they don't even check permit stickers, just wave you through so don't be fooled by the "gated community, security" blurb. As a matter of fact, a portion of the fence that provides the"gated" community (just outside my apartment) laid on the ground for almost 4 months before it was fixed. Also, a member of the office gave my apartment key to someone NOT on my lease, and did NOT have permission to enter my apartment. I was at work when this happened. The reason given was because the office receptionist "felt comfortable" doing it. An item was stolen from my apartment, and remittance was made, but that's irrelevant. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
