Review for Taylor Bend Apartments

I have not moved into this complex as yet, but when compared with the many others that I have toured, this apt is at the top of the list. It appears to be well-built with an additional layer of concrete between upper and lower floors. It has quality appliances, good carpeting, sprinklers, and the parking is convenient. It is a 30 apt complex, more like a community than an anonymous place to live. The owner is in the process of adding a fitness center and gas grills. It is handicapped accessible and has a handicapped apartment available. The apt I choos is only 1000 sq feet. Granted for a little more money, I could find one with many amenities, but not built like a home. It is about 1/4 mile from Chesapeake Square Mall, directly next door to the Taylor Road YMCA (which is the best Y in Hampton Roads), surrounded by fine dining, movie theaters, a bowling alley, etc. I would recommend this to people seeking an aparment in which they intend to live for a while. They have 1BR and 2BR from 920 sg ft to 1080 sq ft. I have reflected the rent for my particular apt.
