Apartment Reviews for Fairfax Square Apartments - Fairfax

My fiancee, myself, and our three year old moved in about 8 months ago. Despite a upstairs neighbor who seems to drop bouldars every so often we have been VERY pleased with the place. The maintainence crews are very friendly and capable. On more than one occasion I have had to call in the middle of the night for various reasons (locked out or furnace broke) and each time someone from the office showed up to take care of the problem. Routine, non-emergency maintainence may take time to get addressed, but overall management is responsive. I feel very safe, even on the bottom floor apartment. <P>
This is not to discount the reports of the other posters. I am not denying that someone could have an awful experience here. I just feel that the people who have bad experiences are often the ones who share them. I have known a few people to live here and have met many of my neighbors. Everyone seems to love the place. <P>

While the walls are a little thin and if the neighbor decides to play some loud music, you'd better hope you like it, truly this is a nice apartment. The neighbors are respectful and loud music is typically limited to weekends. The apartments themselves are spacious, lots of natural light, and comfortable. <P>
When I walked in to look at it for the first time I was quite happy with the place. I recommend anyone needing an apartment in Fairfax to check it out. <P>

Lots of trees, open spaces, top floor is mostly quiet, 3 of our 4 neighbors are terrific. People are friendly and will smile and greet you as you walk by. The managment seems to flucuate continuusly, but the main manager and a few others have been here since we moved in 2 years ago. The mantenace is extreemly able, but it takes 1 - 4 calls to have them show up. <P>
All in all a great place to live if you're a young professional or young family just starting out. <P>
