Apartment Review for Bellemeade Farms

We lived at Bellemeade Apt. for two years. We paid rent on time every month. The office staff was hot and cold. Some of them were friendly and some, not so much. Maintance did a good job responding to issues after the second or third request and they did a great job when it snowed 3 feet.
We didn't have many negatives to say until we wanted to move out. We were finishing our lease and paying one extra month plus a fee to break the new lease. The rental office asked us if we would be willing to move out early and they would waive the extra fees. We of course said we would and felt as if we were helping them out and they were helping us. A perfect end to a perfect rental experience. However, it didn't end quite so nicely. When we paid our final rent (for one week) we later found a note in the door stating we were being charged a late fee for not paying the entire month. They asked us to leave early!!! They didn't even bother to give us a courtesy call saying that the deal was off and we would need to pay the final month they just charged us a $142 late fee.
They also entered our apartment without notifying us and after doing some work in the storage closet left both of our bikes out on the porch and the closet unlocked and open!
They are really nice before and during your stay, but don't try to leave!
