This place is packed, there are a ton of apartments on this lot. This caused a bit of a parking problem if you came in late at night, even on a weeknight.

For the price of the place, being so far away from DC, you would think it would have better appliances.

The bedrooms are nice and large, but you give up space in the common areas to get this space. We were in the largest two bedroom and both of the closets were HUGE. Also, the kitchen was the largest of any apartment I have lived in.

The car wash area was a garden hose plugged into the wall of someone's apartment and the pool wasn't finished until the summer before we left so we didn't use it.

The apartments are new and fairly nice. The bedrooms are large, but the living room is a squeeze. There are a lot of cabinet space in the large two bedroom apartment. Lots of hot water. Able to have two showers running and a load of laundry and still have hot water for everyone.

The buildings are combination/phone controlled which helps with security. Every room has a sprinkler system and the fire alarms are VERY sensitive. You will want to open windows before frying food... trust me: ) You can hear louder neighbors while you are in the hallway, but as soon as you close your apt door, if you are not next to a shared wall, you cannot hear anything. we share three walls and only hear one of our neighbors who are VERY loud, and we rarely hear them.

They are good with regular landscaping and maintenance, but severe weather was a pain. We were snowed in for over a week and eventually had to wait until it melted because they didn't clear the back of the complex, only the front and middle. They send an exterminator and vent filter check around regularly.

There is adequate parking in the back of the complex, but up front can be a struggle sometimes. The staff is hit or miss on their level of customer service and attitude.

UPS and FEDEX will leave your packages at the main office, while the postman takes your package back to the post office.

Within 5 miles are 3 grocery stores, 5 7-11s, a K-Mart and Walmart, 2 Natl pet chains, BN, Borders, Movies, a small Mall and several banks and ATMs.
