Review for Archer's Green Apartments

Where should i start...

1) The noise level is just freaking irritating. You have hundreds of kids shouting, screaming and yelling 24/7, even on a sunday for goodness! Further, the kids block the roads and the drive way as they are playing and boy should you hit one of them, you're in dip trouble. The kids also make a freking mess of the place. The neighbors are also freaking a pain in the neck! They curse at each other at all time, fight and boy the freaking music volume. You feel like your wall are going to crack.
Also if you are on the ground floor, thing getting even ugly. You can hear ever single bit of noise above you. We had a family with kids staying about us and boy am i telling you it was a nightmare. kids crying/jumping/running/hitting walls/dropping furniture and the list just continues.

2) The Garbage Can!! The place stinks like S**t! There is carbage all over the place and them you have freaking rodents diggin through the trash can. It is very very dirty.

3) Parking is also a nightmare. You get only 2 parking decals per house hold. So if you have a third car or a third room mate, he/she has to park the car on the cirb. Guess what? Wake up in the morning and you see a big scratch on your car and it even gets better!! Your stereo system is missing or there is a dent in your car! OH, if you break or misplace your decal, you pay $35.00!!

4) The place is a ghetto!! You have folk coming in/out and making noise at even 4:00a.m. in the morning. Partying/drinking and smoking s**t all over the place. It is really dangerous here. People screaming and shouting and cops all over the place.

5) Maintenance is a nightmare! You call in to report a problem and they show up after 2 weeks. Good luck with this place.

6) Oh did i mention to you about the water meter? These freak have only 5 water meters in this entire appartment unit. And guess what? They have their own utility billing company. So basically the utility bill is split amongst all the apartment in the unit. So here is the deal, even if you do not use the water, YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY!!!!!We ended up paying over $250.00 every month just for the water bill.

7) Washing machine and dryer! These bugs charge you an extra $40.00 a month for the washing machine/dryer. Wow nice way to jack up your rent.

8) It gets even better. They have something call income restricted and non-income restricted policy. So if you and your partner are making over 30,000 you pay more for the rent. Have fun!!!

9) You cannot have any decorations, signs, plants or welcome notices in the front or around your door. You get a ticket worth $80.00 How about that!

10) NO Disk network!! They have a contract with Cox! So if you want cable in your home, you have to go with cox and no other dish/satellite company.

11) Also, the appliances/carpet/walls/kitchen and restooms are in a mess. Extremely poorly maintained units.

12) The units are soooo freking small that you can hardly get you butt in it. Also no storage space. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure you check the unit you are going to move into prior to signing the lease. They will never show you the actual unit. They will only show you the model that is decorated. DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!

As you can see the list just continues. If you think i am just making up this s**t you need to just pass by the ghetto anytime after 5:00 p.m and check it out for yourself. I have taken much of my time to write this review to make sure that nobody go through the same misery as i have.

I'm a resident here as well. You need to review your lease agreement as almost 50% of what you are complaining about is false and has never been in my lease. Not one fee is accurate that you have complained about. If you don't want to pay for a washer and dryer, than why are you? Its up to you to rent them, they don't make you! I know you get one decal per leaseholder to park in the parking lot so if you have a roommate that needs, one its easy to get one. I have two roommates and we each have a car decal for our cars. I have enjoyed living here and get along great with my neighbors. I have even referred a co-worker to live here, which I received money off my rent for the referral!
