Review for R&R Happy Homes Apartments

I've been here for a number of years and overall am displeased with not only the apartment but the management. The apartment itself is ok if you just need the basics although beware of the flying roaches and if you live on the first floor..the creaking will drive you crazy! The walls are very thin and you can hear just about everything that goes on around you including loud music at late hours of the night. The dumpster is full more often than not. As a tenant you can expect nasty attitudes from management, gun shots, and high crime in general around the area. There's a $25 fee if you flick a cigarette anywhere on the property and if you have any trash or paper outside the door including flyers from local restaurants. Recently we got a flyer that said if we have any vehicles with failed inspection stickers, expired tags, have been in an accident, or appear not to run they will be towed after 72 hours. Any outstanding balance on a renters account results in the renters vehicle being towed. The last line of the paper we received about towing reads, "any vehicle that management WANTS towed, for ANY reason, will be towed immediately. We aren't permitted to do any work to our vehicles or that results in towing also. The rent goes up but no improvements are made at all. It's your choice but one I'd definitely reconsider.
