Apartment Review for Legacy At Mayland

The looks of Legacy and Mayland are nice, but when I first moved in I was so disappointed and by this time it was too late. They showed us all these nice apartments that were used to show potential residents what it could be like, but they are nothing like that. I moved in and had a huge hole in the base board that was letting in all kinds of bugs-to fix it all they did was 'raise the carpet.' Now the hole is partially covered with carpet and looks horrible. The second problem was the horrific paint job! The walls were half painted, half not with different shades of white. They came to fix it about a week later and lightly threw the roller on a few places that did no good at all. I gave up on that whole situation. Also, be prepared to cohabitate with cave crickets. They are everywhere and the exterminator will come but you will see they will still live in your closets and kitchens. If you are lucky enough to get a visitor's spot for a few nights in a row, you WILL get tickets on your car stating it will be towed (You only have one space for however many bedrooms/people) We have been loyal residents, pay rent on time, do not complain, but we get tickets on our cars for parking in visitor spaces and we were just told we had to remove our third car from the premisis within 48 hours or it will result in termination of our lease. The property manager is rude to her residents and will not try to work with you at all. The only thing nice about the apartments besides the outside looks are the maintenence people. Oh, and these apartments are infested with Indian people who will complain about anything and everything and will scream when a dog comes near them. Please do not get in the predicament we did with renting from this place; you will want to leave and end up having to pay 2x your rent plus pro-rated amount.
