Apartment Reviews for Legacy At Mayland
Renters beware!

My boyfriend and I found a place we liked, filled out the application and were approved. Naturally, we put down a deposit and signed the lease with an agent present. About a week later we got a call saying that the apartment was no longer ours because the current tenants changed their minds and decided to stay. We told them that was not legal according to the lease but apparently the law doesn't apply to them. They didn't even check to see that a lease had already been signed for that unit before they told the current residents they could stay. They told us they'd find us a different unit for the same price, which they did, but it wasn't available until more than a week after we needed it and they made no effort to compensate us or get us moved in at a convenient time. We called many times with questions and to express that we would have no where to live for a whole week, but they either didn't answer, took days to call us back or were rude and sounded very annoyed to even be talking to us.
The manager, Beth, was so rude to us on the phone and never once apologized for their screw up! We asked for a month's rent free to make up for displacing and inconveniencing us, but they totally ignored our request and told us, "You either take what we're offering or you take your money back."
We got our money and didn't look back! Customer service is NO priority for these people.
