There are a TON of losers on this site (former disgruntled tenants) who have either been evicted or have severe emotional disturbances.

Let me tell you - River City is the BEST.

I love them!

I just love River City- in fact, I love them so much, I "incorporated" the River City Fan Club. Yep, I spent my own money (and on my own time) I make sure everyone knows just how GREAT River City Real Estate is! I go on internet message boards, I send emails, I hold secret meetings - I love them!

Giant spaces, on-site (or in-room) laundry, off-street parking, hardwood and ceramic tile floors - River City has it all!

Okay- here's the scoop... there are a handful of misfits and losers who have either been evicted or had to pay additional fees for a variety of reasons (pets, late fees, etc.) who have made it thier mission to post negative feedback on this site. They are disgruntled. They are angry at their little lives of nothingness. These sad souls deserve your pity, as they are so lonely, so depressed and so emotionally unstable that all they do is monitor internet message boards. So, let's not laugh at these poor little men and women. Let us understand their frustration. They have no life. They have no loved ones. They would rather lurk here than enjoy a nice day. Of course, they sometimes band together. Five or six even created an "association" so that they could meet in secret and whine together. Pity them... for they are truly sad. Have a good weekend guys- try to have some fun. Call your mom.

I recently "incorporated" the River City Residents Association. This fine organization is dedicated to the betterment of all tenants. When someone joins us- they are entitled to vandalize property, post false reviews, and even get EVICTED (senior officers only). So, it is with this post that we - the RCRA - wholeheartedly endorce all River City Real Estate properties!

The Parachute Factory is a great place to live and River City Real Estate is the best neighbors you could have! So, to all the whining, insipid, and pathetic losers out there: Keep on, Keeping on!

I just relocated from the D.C. Metro area. My job transferred me to Richmond. So, I needed a new place FAST! I found River City Real Estate on the 'net - and after reading all the great reviews, I decided to give them a try. I met with River City after looking at a TON of places in the downtown area - and apartments by the big museum. I settled on the Parachute Factory. Its right off the interstate - so, its easy to get to work, and my apartment is really, really big, with a great view of the downtown skyline.

In short, I LOVE my new place, and I LOVE RIVER CITY REAL ESTATE!

I don't know what all the whining is about- River City Real Estate is a community asset. Whether they're donating time (and MONEY) to various local charaties (YMCA, SPCA, SPECIAL OLYMPICS, etc.) or donating apartments to battered women in domestic violence situations - you couldn't have a better neighbor than River City Real Estate!

I had some credit problems in the past (my score is high enough, NOW) and these guys worked with me to put me in a great two bedroom in the heart of the Fan!

I loved my River City apartment- right in the middle of the Fan, close to the interstate and downtown... they let me have my dog. For the money, what's not to like?!?

Look, this isn't a "luxury" building- but, its in the heart of the Fan and has some good stuff.

Central AC/Heat, hardwood floors, dishwashers (a real + for me!) off street parking help to make this place a real value for the money paid.

I know some didn't like it, but this building was just right!

I rented with River City Real Estate before - both in the Fan (811 North Boulevard) and at their downtown lofts. For the money they were quite a value.

Also, they were the only landlords that would let me keep my 2 dogs (both rescues) when others wouldn't.

River City was good to me and my babies!

This building (811 N. Blvd.) is located at the intersection of Boulevard and West Broad Street. Its in the city, folks. I rented with River City for a little over a year - I found (for the price) this to be a great value. They allowed my dogs (most placed did not) and they provided parking (most FAN apartments don't).

Overall- I enjoyed my time. But, I have to admit that I paid my rent on time and did not damage the apartment. Oh, and I was a "grown-up".

Lived in a couple of apts in the Fan and River City had the best price and condition. Centra Air and a Dishwasher (pretty rare in fan). The building was old but had been remodeled. No prob with the parking as we had off street and on-street.

They fixed stuff if you put in a request. People in the office seemed nice.

Liked living in the Fan. Had a lot of good times. Miss living their.

Lived with these guys about a year and a half. The apartments are old but have great character. Great location. Close to all the bars and eats. The price of the rent was right but parking can be a challenge. They fixed stuff pretty regular but I had call twice once.

I really loved living in the Fan and my apt at River City Court. The proximity to Carytown is great. I could walk and bike to everything I needed. The apt is quiet. It is the city but this area is nice. You are across the street from a park!! The managment takes care of problems but I never had to many issues. There is offstreet parking and that is also nice for this area.

In the heart of the fan. Close to Cary Town, shops, clubs, and restaurants. Enjoyed the apartment. I was quite and parking was pretty good for an Urban Area. The price was pretty good and the rent was at the right price. I didn't interact with management to much but when I had a problem they took care of it as best I remember.

Enjoyed living at River City Court. It was quiet and the management took care or maintenance issues pretty quickly. I thought the rent was fair and they did provide off street parking. It is and Urban Area so always be aware but I guess I would say that for any city environment. River City seems to have cleaned up the area

I rented a 1 Bedroom here for 18 months. The only problem I had was when the laundry room was down. The management company fixed the problem the next day. The place is really quiet and I didn't have any problems with the neighbors. The price for the apartment was good and they didn't raise the rent. The people in the office were nice and seemed to want to solve any issues I had. I would recommend living their. <P>

I have rented from River City for while and have been to a couple of their buildings. They do a pretty good job of keeping the buildings in good shape and the rent is fair. When I call maintenance they come and fix the problems. I would say they have the best apts in the fan for the best price. <P>

I love my apartment! It's absolutely beautiful! When I in, the staff took extra time to make sure my apartment was ready for me. The leasing agent is extremely helpful and efficient. They even helped me set up my utilities! Any maintenance requests I've had have been filled in a timely manner were done right the first time. I've never received such great help from a rental agency! I would definatley recommend this agency to my friends and family. <P>

I just LOVE my apt! It is quiet, the rooms are large, and the rent is reasonable! Can't ask for more than that. I have put in 3 mainenance requests over the past year, and each one was answered the same day with satisfactory results. <P>

river city has been newly renovated and it looks great now. I have lived here for 4 years now and i dont know what those other people are talking about. They are very affordable too. <P>
