Apartment Review for Stony Point Apartments

When I moved in there was a puddle of water on the carpet in the hallway from the leaking toilet, doorknobs that were falling off in your hand, doors and windows that wouldn't close, and no dryer vent. After waiting over a week for maintenance, I fixed most of these issues myself. After maintenance came, some of the problems were still never fixed. When I told them the tub was leaking, no one ever came out to look at that either, and I assume from how mushy the floor feels near the tub that it is probably rotting under there. They promised me a preferred employer gift card when I put down my deposit, and after over 6 months and repeatedly asking them about it and getting excuses, I have given up on them ever fulfilling this promise. The apartment is poorly built, with walls that appears to be buckling in places, floors that are not level, and walls that are not straight. So glad I only had a 6 month lease because I wouldn't want to live there a day longer. <P>
