Apartment Review for West Springfield Terrace Apartments

I've been living in this apartment for 1 1/2 years and will be moving out in 1 month. It has been worst place I've ever lived in and I would never recommend it to someone or ever move back.
The drier is old and non working. I have to dry every load twice before they get somewhat dry. The washer was dripping water and called the maintenance and he forgot to secure the water line so next time I used the washer...yep...had my whole kitchen flooded, including my neighbors underneath me ( I live on the third floor). My dishwasher is dripping water and had to have 2 calls before getting it fixed...to some degree...the rinsing solution is still not getting dispensed and the maintenance guy told he has no idea how to have that fixed. Same with the fridge, it took them more then a week to finally get it fixed. The floors are squawky, the carpets are sooo old and the insulation is not that good....my electric bill for the month of July was $233.00 for a 2 bedroom...VERY HIGH!!
I do like to pool and had no issues with the parking. We had the police over 4 times in one year- domestic stuff, another guy threatening his wife with a gun and so on. I don't see it as a safe area especially if you have a child!
When we moved in we were told that the ONLY utility bill we are responsible for will the electricity- surprise to get the ISTA bill a month later and it gets higher by month. I've spoke to one of the neighbors and he was told the same thing with regards to the utilities.
My opinion is that they are charging so much rent because of the location- and it is a great location. Otherwise the apartments are very poorly maintained, or made with the cheapest materials.
Can't recommend to anyone such a place!
