Review for Lakewood Apartments

The apartments are decent. But not worth the 100 dollar increase in rent in one year. Can you imagine what it would be in 5 years from now? Based on my experience, and as a Marine wife, I encourage all active duty military to live elsewhere. I have lived here a few years now and have had no complaints against me or my husband yet the management currently at Lakewood in my opinion is poor and is reliant too much on people with no education and no knowledge of the business. They play favorites with residents and act as though their word, is the word of the lord. Management also drinks with the residents on weekends which is a huge conflict of interest. Then once they're not invited to the cookout they give you a notice of nonrenewal, after just giving you the application to renew. It's really just a day to day thing with them. They don't even change your locks upon move in!!!! I have had people unlock my door and walk in! So next time you think the apartment is great and a good size...before you sign those papers, be sure to check out the management.
