Nice Place to Live ( over a year ago )

A very nice place to live and very well maintained. If it has any drawbacks that would be that you need to drive everywhere as it is not close to shopping. <P>

I lived at The Pointe At Stafford for about a year and 4 months, and had an overall good experience. The rent is pricey, but not too bad for the Stafford area, and the distance to Quantico is convenient for Marines. I also liked the fact that we were allowed to have a dog while we lived there. I would stay there again if I was going back to Stafford, however I knew people that ended up having leaking problems (on lower floors). We lived on the top floor and had no troubles. I would recommend living on a top floor, so you can have vaulted ceilings.
Parking is great, especially compared to the place I live now (another story). The appearance and maintainance are OK, only problem is some people do not clean up after their dogs, making walking through the grass slightly treacherous.
Management is friendly and helpful, and the maintainance guys do an above average job in workmanship. Maintainance is always on staff and is very friendly.
NEGATIVES- Our neighbors were good, but almost noone decorated for holidays, which I find to be a little depressing. There is a very high turnover of tenants here (myself included), because many people are Marines and are transferred, and many people are living there just waiting for their houses to be built.
