Me and my wife lived in Spring Road (the newly renovated apt's)for 2 years and loved it! The apartment is great along with the floor plan! All new appliances and hardwoods! There are a few college kids that live nearby, but for the most part they kept to themselves and were fairly quiet. For the most part, I felt we got a great deal and the other apt's they had available at the time seemed much more affordable than most we had looked at while shopping. Maintenance guys took care of any issues the same day and the office staff was so helpful with evrything! Wife is graduating in May, and we hope to find a place as friendly as this one wherever we may end up!

This complex is populated mostly by college students, so its low rent belies the true socio-economic status of most of its tenants. Lawson Enterprises divides its holdings into several subsets of apartments. Ours is the Julia Ann. My husband and I moved here because of the price, location, and access to the out-of-doors. We have two small children. We are previous homeowners - delighted to have hassle-free apt. living again. We have met a handful of other couples with small kids here. I think we got the absolute best sublocation we could've - super close to the pool and set up several feet above the parking lot. Anyway, we've had minimal bug problems: black ants in the summer left quickly with boric acid sprinkled at entries and a total of five roaches since we've moved in a year ago...haven't reappeared after we put out roach motels. Definitely NOT a plague of bugs. The maintenance staff is prompt and friendly. We know a lot of our neighbors who have all turned out to be very nice people. The occasional loud party has been snuffed out by circulating squad cars. Our apartment was last renovated mid-90's but was almost immaculate upon move-in. Our maintenance issues have been handled on the same day. It's great I just got accepted to med school, so we'll be moving soon, but we're not looking forward to moving away! (I will point out that the head lady in the rental office once treated me like an unruly seventh-grader. I was offended, but the high quality of the rest of our experience negates that run-in.)

Lawson has a couple of apartment holdings, I lived in the efficiency apartments and lived above a business. These apartments are tiny and old but kept up pretty well, one thing...these apartments have a boiler system...meaning the apartment complex has dates to have it switched to air conditioning and dates to run it for heat. But because of the crazy weather they were good about turning the ac on sooner and letting it run longer. Other then not being able to control my own heating and cooling...overall good place to live. Staff is very friendly, had a problem paying my rent on time one month and they worked with me. Over all a very good place to live. Numerous times i forgot to lock the door on my apartment or for my car and nothing happened...then again i was away from the college kids...they lived across the street...still not too many parties and i never heard any noise expect when I was outside for a smoke and my neighbors door or windows were open.
Just moved out a week ago and will call tomorrow to find out about my deposit...hopefully everything keeps remaining as pleasant as living there has been.
I would deffiently recomend the efficieny apartments.
