Review for College Park Apartments

At first I thought this place was great, but now not so much. Leases are according to CWU's quarters so it is nice if you don't want to have a year long lease. The manager seemed super nice at first and now it just seems fake. Whenever I go in to ask him a question regarding our lease he seemed really sort and unsure of why I would have questions.

When we moved in it was apparent that the carpet had not been cleaned... there was dried pasta sauce in some places. Though the manager assured that they use the $100 cleaning fee to the fullest. Our toilet started leaking and upon further investigation it was because our toilet tank was not bolted to the bottom part! On one side of our bathroom vanity it is rotten (probably from the leaking toilet) and when we moved in we told the manager about it and he said that the previous tenants had some water damage, but his crew hasn't gotten a chance to fix it. 10 months later they haven't.

Don't take the first apartment they show you! The manager showed us a kind of dark and dank apartment with very little storage space so we said that it might be too small and he said that he had another one that we could look at. And behold, an apartment with tons of storage! As in a HUGE walk in pantry. Advice apt. #45 is HUGE, it has a different lay out than all the rest of the apartments in the complex. Move into an apartment next to electrical rooms (each building has one) because you won't have a neighbor right next to you, you get a bigger closet and your hot water heater isn't in your apartment.

We had to seal all of our windows and AC in the winter with plastic because they are all single pane. Our electric in the kitchen is weird. We can't have the oven and the stove on at the same time or else the breaker pops off. And the outlets work only 75% of the time.

Needless to say we want to move out!
