Review for The Grove Apartments

Living at the Grove is horrible. When I got here, my apartment wasn't ready, so they put my roommate and I into a 3 bedroom instead of a 2 bedroom. They assured us that they would not put another person in the extra room. Sounds great, right? Then, they backed down on that claiming that it wasn't policy. Apparently, it's not the Grove's policy to be honest. The apartments were constructed too quickly and, thus, they are falling apart. I was hit by a piece of roof on a windy day when I was walking to the office to pay rent. Every time I called to talk to the manager, I was told he/she wasn't there, but, once, I could clearly see someone sitting in the office. My roomate's bathroom vent leaked and caused mold to grow. When she reported it, they ignored the work order and told her she needed to turn on her fan when she showered. After about 7 months, they got around to fixing it and bought her a gift basket full of shower gel to appease her. I'm absolutely outraged with this place and I'm looking for any way to break the lease, no matter how much I have to pay. It's just not worth my time anymore. Also, they performed weekly inspections of my apartment like I was in a dorm. There is just NO privacy and no respect. The noise level isn't horrible, but there are parties from Thursday to Sunday. There are not enough parking spots. They threaten with a parking pass, but it is not enforced. The office staff are extremely unhelpful. They refused to give me the corporate number to complain about the health issue with the mold problem. I feel extremely violated on almost all accounts. DO NOT LIVE AT THE GROVE. It's not worth the washer and dryer. I'm surprised there isn't a class action lawsuit against this place yet. I would be GLAD to join one.

Talk about being honest.... This person is a liar, I do not know about her room construction but I have never had any problems. I have lived here since it opened and they have done they inspections. Once a year.
