Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings

The Grove is a great experience for students moving out of the dorms and starting out on their own at college. The apartment is fully furnished and very spacious. The utilities, cable, and internet are included with the rent so it is very convenient with paying bills. There is also a large private bathroom and closet connected to the room itself.
They have many amenities here that are convenient and easy to enjoy. Free tanning, access to the pool, weightroom, and great community activities. Everyone is very friendly.
Management is more than happy to assist with any problems that might occur. I've had some different situations occur that were quickly taken care of. Management is very understanding of different situations and they are always looking to help you out in any way possible. Even if it means waiting on collecting rent without collecting late payments. I couldn't tell you how helpful they were with my most recent situation here. They were very professional and helpful.
A lot of people who actually take the time to post a review are people with negative comments, I just thought i would post this to shed light on the positive aspects of the Grove.

I have lived at The Grove for 2 years now and I just renewed for my 3rd and final year.Overall my experience has been good. I see the reviews and I thought I would give another perspective. I have had a few roommates while living here that didn't like it and it was usually because they would do stuff that would get them in trouble whether they didni't pay rent on time or they trashed stuff and blamed it on The Grove. I honestly have only had a few problems with The Grove and everytime I have went and talked to management they have helped me out. I enjoy alot this place has such as my own room and bathroom, not to mention a washer and dryer. Some people say it's overpriced but once you add everything up plus the convenience of things it's not bad. This has been a good experience and I wouldn't trust some of these reviews they are probably from people that are lame and just want to blame someone for it!

The apartment I moved into looks really great. My room and furniture looks nice and have my own bathroom and closet is awesome. The biggest problem I have with this place is how thin the walls are. I live on the first floor and can here the girls on the third floor yelling adn screaming like freshman do. Quiet hours are at 10, and I hear my neighbors until 2 am. And it's every night. You can call the secrity phone but that rarely happens. If you're a light sleeper, you won't like it here. Plus, being predominately college students, do not leave your doors unlocked or anything outside that isn't chained up. People also steal and deface the Grove property.
I do not have a problem with the students who work here, I believe they are not trained enough to help. With my lease, I have a dog and they accused me of not paying for her when my online payments show that they are suppose to take the deposit out. I had to go in there myself with a print out showing how much I pay a month. They also lost my paperwork on my dog that I filled out before I moved in.
So, if you decide to live here, make sure YOU are on the ball and don't rely on the people who work here.

I moved into the Grove back in 2008 and just moved out this year after I graduated. I have to say when I moved in the complex was newer but average in about all areas (besides nice new furniture!). Over the last two years though the entire experience has really improved.
My favorite part about the Grove was my own bathroom and closet (and lock on the door!) as well as the pool in the summer.
The maintenance staff was very polite and fixed our apartment issues fast and if we had to wait they would always keep us informed.
As far as payments, it was easy for my parents to either mail a check or pay online. My roommate used her financial aid refund to pay for rent, and they didn’t penalize her for paying after it arrived.
It is true that the staff has always been college students (aside from management) but I preferred living with peers. The events were put on by people our age which made it fun for my roommates and I to get to know our neighbors. Plus it was more comfortable approaching the front desk or calling in with issues, being dealt by young professionals rather than people my parent’s age who couldn’t relate to us, like some of the other management at other complexes.
All in all, I would recommend The Grove to any students living in Ellensburg. It was definitely superior to other apartments we checked out and of course the dorms!

I have lived at the Grove for my second year now and havent experienced any of these "horrific" events people have been writing about. First off, the management has always worked with me when i have had any issues with rent or had any questions about my lease in general, i can set up a meeting and speak with them directly. Secondly, when i put maintance requests in i havent had them just barge in unannounced, they will knock and then proceed to yell maintance if i didnt get to the door in time. I love the fact that it is fully furnished and you only have one bill to pay at the beginning of the month because everything is included. i have lived at other apartments in the past and they dont have NEARLY all the "extras" the grove has. They have a pool, tanning and a 24 hour gym which is convenient. They also host lots of events which is where i met my current roommate, at kareoke night. I just think its a joke when people hate on the grove because of partying and things like that. Get over it people, we live in a college town and you will find that anywhere! Not to mention they have a 24 emergency call line you can call when someone is being loud or if your locked out. Id like to see these people move somewhere else and see how they like it. Good luck!

The grove is a good starting and college student apartment! All of the utilities are paid for in your rent (cable, internet,
garbage, power, water, everything!) A great deal! I haven't lived here long but I love it. It is with in walking distance and there's free tanning! It is like living in a hotel!

I have lived at the Grove for almost 2 years now and I love it! I really hate seeing all the negative reviews because I have had a wonderful experience whether it be meeting new people, the furnished apartment or all the ammenities I really enjoy it. I looked at other apartments and they just weren't as good as the Grove. I wouldn't listen to all the negative stuff about it, it's a great place to live!

I moved into The Grove this year and I love it. I looked at every other place in Ellensburg and they were crap compared to here.
I like the staff and most of them try to make it a fun and friendly atmosphere. I will be choosing to live here next year because its been the best of my college experience.

The GRove has been the best over the past two years. The furniture is so nice and the main office is really cool.

The Grove is awesome. They started off a little rocky but could not be better now. The apartments are super nice and everything is included. It can get a little noisy on the weekend but they have an on call phone that you can call and most of the time it keeps quiet after that. The people in the office are really friendly and they have improved dramatically since they first opened. And the management is amazing. I had an issue that I needed solved and it was the same day I talked to them. I loved living there, if I could only be 18 again to keep living there. The Grove was an awesome place to spend in college.
