Review for Crystal Cove Apartments

I've lived here for several years. I would like to make a point of saying that the new office staff is very nice, especially the manager. (No, this is not a fake posting, I'm just being honest) My requests for repairs are typically filled within a day, or two at most. I really love the floor plans. However, my bathrooms and bedroom windows are covered in mold and every weekend, I have to spray them down with bleach. But the apartments themselves are beautiful, especially the townhome style ones. That said, the crime is pretty bad here, especially car break ins and !domestic violence!. Some of the neighbors are nice, but most are really loud! Physically fighting, cursing, having loud sex, playing really loud music. I cannot believe sometimes that human beings can be so rude and uncaring of each other. One of the worst things is the cars driving through at 30 mph, or with the bass bumping so loud that your windows literally shake. And when you call security, it takes them forever to get here and then when they do, all they do is drive through. Summertime seems to be worse, with teenagers having nothing better to do than party all night, walk through the complex in gangs of 20 , harrassing people and/or puking everywhere. Parking has gotten much better in the past few months. And if you are in a townhome style apartment, you have a garage. Again, I really love the floor plans and I think this could be a wonderful complex if it wasn't for the criminals and low life, ghetto lovers they allow to move in. I have heard that they are going to turn these into condos and townhouses for sale. If they do not get rid of the criminals though, I can't imagine they'll sell well. I would be willing to go through a whole new application process and pay higher rent, if it meant that the criminals living here would be forced out. This place has so much potential, but they need to get serious about cleaning it up. People are acting in ways that they have been allowed to get away with. Don't allow the bad behavior and it will eventually stop. I couldn't recommend this place to anyone as it is, but remove the criminal element, and maybe put in some security gates, and I'd recommend it to everyone.
