Review for Fairhaven Downs Apartments

This place has been a DISASTER! Upon moving in, it seemed to be alright, our apartment had been remodeled, and seemed to be in good shape. Although the rent is high ($825 for a 2 bdrm + $15 for an uncovered reserved parking spot per month) we were running out of time and moved in. Big mistake!

We have only lived here for 4 months, and have had to call at least 2 times a week to have a car towed out of our reserved parking spot. Then worry all night that someone will vandalize our car. The area does not feel safe, and there are constantly loud parties every weekend, to the point of people puking over the balconies onto the stairs, cops constantly being called, garbage strewn all over the lawn and walkways.

We have also had NUMEROUS maintenance issues. Our "remodeled" apartment only caused more problems. Nothing was installed correctly, the oven would tip and spill things while you were cooking, the dishwasher would fall out of the counter when you opened it. Our heaters only worked intermittently. Both of our bathroom sinks have leaked for a month and a half. We have called at least 10 times to have them fixed, but no luck. Now our brand new bathroom cabinets are warped and moldy!

The only excuse that they give us as to why they haven't fixed them is that they have multiple units that need to be ready to rent by the end of the month! What, so they can swindle more people into renting here?

Whatever you do, don't be fooled, Fairhaven Downs is a DUMP!!
