when i first arrived to move into my new apartment here, the carpets were still damp because the office manager only allowed 2 days from the old tenant moving out until i moved in and they didn't even paint. these apartments have a MAJOR MOLD problem no matter what you do to help prevent it and the office is no help when you call to report it, they don't properly clean, prime, and paint the moldy area, they just throw some paint over the spots and eventually it comes through but at that point it's your problem because "it wasn't there when you moved in" ... parking was a nightmare until they (2 months ago) assigned parking however, the airheads who assigned the parking spaces did it in numerical order rather than who lives closest to that space, so you may end up walking to the end of the building to get to your car because you're in 201 since they started with 101, 102, 103, etc. idiots. the office staff aren't friendly (this is the 6th set of new staff i've seen since living here and 3 property managers later) oh and the maintenance workers don't speak english (well 1 does) and when the one guy who translates for them is gone they don't do any maintenance work because they can't communicate with the office staff and residents to fix the problem. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RENTERS INSURANCE IF YOU LIVE HERE. i was forced to live off site for 7 days when the water heater above my apartment leaked into mine and it left so much moisture in my place that i couldn't dry it out and it took them 5 days to put in a de-humidifier to pull moisture out of the air and when i contacted the office manager about compensation for not being able to live in my place for 7 days i was told that if she had known that then she would've put me up in the model apartment, yet the maintenance guy (translator) said she knew about it and was told a few times by him ... NOW WHO'S LYING??? anyways, she told me not to pay my $30 water bill that month for my trouble but rent was still due in full because she didn't know i was displaced. Bullsh!t. every place is going to have problems, so be smart with your money and buy a house so you wont have to deal with these kinds of people.
