Apartment Review for Sammamish River Apartments

I rented a 2 bdr, 2 bath apartment at the Sammamish River Apt. complex for over a year from 2011-2012 and moved out after purchasing a home. Although I have read several pieces of "trash talk" on the internet regarding this facility and it's operating staff, I find these claims unfounded and most likely are opinions of substandard tenants. Firstly, the location of the complex is absolutely fantastic being within easy walking distance of the Burke-Gilman Trail and the Kenmore Park-and-Ride bus stop. Being a bus commuter made this location particularly attractive. Although the BG Trail was closed southbound for repairs during my tenancy, it was recently reopened and this alone will increase the desirability of this location for those wanting to commute by bicycle to Seattle. Some might be put off that there is no swimming pool, however, swimming and fishing in the river behind the complex in the spring and summer more than make up for this in my opinion. The lawns in both the front and back of the facility are well maintained for family gatherings (barbecues). In addition, there is a private boat launch ramp with access to Lake Washington. So, depending on your lifestyle and needs, this might be just the place you are looking for.
