Apartment Review for Island Park

Check what needs to be repaired FIRST before moving in.

When you first move in make sure you do a walk through with whomever is showing you the apartment make sure you take note of every crack in the wall, paint that is uneven...everything. The reason why is because when you move out they are going to want to take all of those repairs out of your security deposit..(It already happened to me and countless others) They will already take 100 dollars off of the top and then they will charge you for cleaning the rugs, overall cleaning...etc next thing you know your security deposit that you were hoping to get back is non-existant. I hope you will take my advice and understand that they don't want to give your security deposit back...they want to keep it. Other than that, the place has been great, Maintenance comes on time, it's a nice location pretty much next to everything and is very quiet.
