Review for Heatherwood Apartments

I have lived here for eight months. I am in the only secure building. Well, not really secure. You have to have a key to get in, or there is a box that you can use to call the apartments. There are kids everywhere and they will ring the first number they can find in that box. The parents don't supervise. Residents have ripped off door handles on all the doors so that you don't even need the keys. We also found poop (human or dog? not sure) in the stair wells. Someone later smeared it everywhere. Walls, handrails you name it. We informed the management. It took 4 months to clean it. Maintainence is also in charge of maintaining the elevators and secure building's hallways. They have yet to clean the floors of the tile elevator. And kids spit on the walls to see how long it takes to travel. And they don't vacuum the hallways. They walk around with a broom and dustpan. Brooms don't clean carpet. And kids ride their bikes down the halls. I used my own vacuum to clean right outside my door. It almost died. Serious, and this was a brand new vacuum. My car was stolen from the lot. This isn't a place you want to rent from. I am trying to move out, and my new apartment needs my rental history. They have called and left five messages, and faxed the form over three times. No repsonse. They are HORRIBLE! Take it from someone who knows!
