Apartment Review for Lakeside Apartments

I lived in Lakeside for 2 years and everything started out ok. My apartment was located on the 2nd floor and my wall was right next to the stairs where it was continuously noisy from people running up and down the stairs at all hours of the night and early morning. The worst was the neighbors kids playing on the stairs late at night. Then I had a continous black mold problem in my bedroom that constantly made me sick. I had a really bad leaky ceiling (at one point I had to put pots underneath the leaks and move my bed to prevent any more damage) in my bedroom that I came home to one evening and it soaked my through my mattress and sheets which they refused to replace. When I asked if they could do something about the mold, they had maintenance come in and CLEAN it instead of inspecting it to see if it was hazardous to my health. It would always come back within a week and they never gave me a choice of moving into another apt. even though I continually complained about it. Parking sucks! The geese are a huge problem and can be vicious in the spring and summer time when their eggs hatch. My dog was attacked twice by them while walking him around the pond they have. Walls are INCREDIBLY thin, the dishwasher was constantly breaking and I'd have to run the dishwasher 3 times to get my dishes clean.

The only good thing I liked about my apt. was the huge walk in closet and bedroom. The one bedrooms are ridiculously priced compared to the 2 bedrooms. I would definately NOT recommend moving into these apts.
