I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a home. It was likely that the abundance of bugs was due to the fact that my unit was on the greenbelt, but I'm still disgusted about finding a rat in my storage unit.
The noise was probably what one might expect from a large apartment complex. I heard folks having sex in the unit next to mine and from the apartment above, I'd hear the dogs scampering across the floor or barking at someone at the door.
I did not feel safe allowing my eleven-year-old child play outside without supervision.
When I moved out, I requested a checklist of things to do, and it specifically said not to have the carpets cleaned. The carpets weren't pristine when I moved in, so I wasn't particularly concerned, but I did some spot-cleaning anyway. They deducted charges for carpet cleaning from my deposit.
Additionally, the people who were planning to help me on my last day of moving out had to cancel, and after dropping off the keys and coming to my new place, I woke up super-early realizing in a panic that I had forgotten to remove the contents of one kitchen cabinet. I immediately called the office at 6:30 am and left a message requesting that I gather the contents (worth about $75 when you include my son's meds), and never heard back from them. When I called back just before noon, I was told that the maintenance crew had already gone in and disposed of everything. I was upset and asked, "So, not only am I out the contents of that cabinet, but you'll probably charge me for cleaning it out too." The kind woman in the office said she would speak to someone about that. Sure enough, they charged me $100 for cleaning out that cabinet.
When I got the notice of all the charges being deducted, I called the office and spoke to someone who was clearly not empowered to do more than take a message. She told me that Lisa, the manager, would call me back. She never did.
