Nature is a few steps away at the nearby City Hall Park, or farther away Pioneer Building or Occidental Park. For residents involved in academia, Golden Gate University and Seattle University are both less than a mile away. Although reviewers agree that unit prices were economical and the location is ideal, some felt management did not do its due diligence in maintaining the building and ensuring a safe environment. The complex is a great place for the accident prone or those working in the medical industry, with Northwest Hospital & Medical Center and Kindred Hospital on either side of the building. Renters can find easy shopping down the block at the Northgate Mall, with the close by ARCO grocery providing all tenants’ produce needs. Residents who like to eat out will find several restaurants, including Super Buffet, Quiznos, and Stanford’s Restaurant, nearby. Specifically, the remodeling features wood burning fireplaces, Danish cabinetry, views of the Cascade Mountains on the patios, and covered parking. Also nearby are these attractions: Lyon’s Grocery, Canlis Restaurant, the Thomas C. Wales Park, and China Harbor Restaurant. Reviews had nothing but good things to say about the Martinique Apartments, but they especially loved the views.
