I moved into the Jem Wey a few months ago. This is what I've noticed. Yeah, it is a little dusty, but the maintenance guy is great, and last month 6 appartments had to be painted and preped at once for new tenants. I've noticed computer periphials in the dumpster, and the maintenance guy has to check the recycling and dumpsters daily. Remember how to recycle? There is a place at the end of the parking lot in the Jem Wey where old electronics and furniture belong. It cost the Jem Wey over 500 dollars to remove it all last month. A REALLY nice service, since it cost money these days to get rid of an old T.V. or computer monitor, and time and money to haul away on old bed or couch. I have also noticed minor vandalism, which the maintenance guy has to deal with. This isn't a college dorm! I have family who own a condo in a highrise on Mercer, and they just have a cleaning service that comes in once a week. The building is spotless, MAINLY because the tenants do a lot themselves. In other words, in my opinion, we the tenants(some more than others) need to do a little more around here. Besides, this is Queen Anne, not Bellevue. I love it here, the rustic hill is great, and this unit I have is perfect. I saw many units from 800 to 1500 dollars on this hill, and believe I am getting a great deal. And the noise level, I mean I can get really loud, and my neighbor can't hear a thing. And 25 dollars to park? A newsletter? Sorry, but I love the Jem Wey! Would recommend to anyone looking to move to Queen Anne.
