Review for Villa D'italia Apartments

The apartments seem ok when you first move in. They are spacious, plenty of closet space and there are pools and a workout area. After we lived there for a while, we noticed that the water was rusty and I would not even cook with unfiltered water. There is a black mold that grows in the bathroom and it is very hard to get rid of (we leave the vent on and leave a window open and it still grows!!) There is this strange black stuff that collects on any white plastic items (strange!!) It usually wipes off but it comes back shortly. I have no idea what it is or where it comes from. Which leads me to believe that it is in the air (perhaps from being so close to the highway????) The hallways have NO ventilation so they are often stink and are stuffy. I cant complain about the laundry area. I have had some experience where it has been busy for hours, and some days I can run 8 loads at once and not run into another person. Our rent has recently increased and now it seems over priced. They are only letting us get a three month lease and have plans for some updates&Rumor around the building is that they are going condo and changing the name! Beware!! Its not worth buying!
