Apartment Reviews for The John Alden - Seattle

My wife and I feel very lucky to have found the John Alden Apartments more than ten years ago.
The location is ideal. Available services and venues are all walkable. There are shops, banks ,groceries, a bakery, Bartells and payless, several restaurants and three hospitals all within a couple of blocks from our beautifull restored 1924 brick beauty.
A ten minute walk west thru Freeway Park finds you in the center of downtown, and ten minutes the other way you're among the wonders of Capitol Hill.
The building is beautiful, quiet and safe. The grounds are very nice with a fountained courtyard and landscape to love.
The heat and water are boiler generated allowing long showers and deep tub baths. The washers and dryers are all brand new high capacity units in a large room. The whole place is very charming.
Never have we had any trouble with neighboors and the staff is johnny on the spot when needed.
We highly recommend The John Alden.
