Apartment Reviews for Top Of The Lake Apartments - Seattle

After I signed the lease for this complex, I found the negative review for it. It freaked me out and I was sorry for not finding it before. However, the review is bias and misleading. Who ever wrote it is obviously writing it out of spite over something. It exudes anger! I have lived here at the complex for some time now and I disagree entirely!
-As for safty
The complex is as safe as any other in the Lake Forest Park area! The buildings are secure and the tenants seem responsible.
-As for parking
Parking can become an issue, at times. But the manager always seems to address that issue when it comes up. She makes sure that there are no unused cars left on the property and that tenants use their assigned spots rather than taking up the common parking areas.
-As for the appearance of the complex
It is an older complex, built in late 70s and mid 80s, but they are well maintained and kept up. The grounds are nice and flowers are in bloom. I have never seen or smelled mold! Nor have I heard of any such problem! -or I would move because I am mold sensitive!
-As for the manager
She is great! Always helpful and willing to address issues as much as one can when attending to a community of people.
-as to maintenance
The complex as a whole is seems well maintained. Yes, a blower is used to keep the area clear. I have not seen it as a problem! My unit has not needed any maintenance yet, but I talked to my neighbor (who has lived here for 15 years)and she says issues are taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. The 'creepy' individual is a unique character, but harmless and kind. -never heard him swear!
-As to the condition of my unit
It was in excellent condition when I moved in! There had been certain upgrades done to the apartment, but I like that it still held a 'vintage' appeal. It is funky and cool! The newer has a whole different appeal to it. It is more modern in feel. But, I like the older building's feel.
-As to the noise level
It is an apartment community! However the manager made it clear when I viewed the apartment that her expectations of all tenants was one of respectful quietness. I know she has gone through a process of 'purging' the complex of undesirable tenants. Perhaps the writer of the first review was one of those!
-as to overall rating
I am glad that I moved here! It is quiet, clean and well maintained. I suppose when I move out I will have to clean my apartment well or hire the job out, but the unit was SPOTLESS when I moved in, so...!
