I truly regret renting from the Broadmoor apartments. It was very poorly managed and they have some VERY UNETHICAL practices. The water was shut off without proper notice on a regular basis about once a week, so you could be taking a shower, and, surprise! The water was off! On top of that, when it came back it was brown! Finding a parking spot was possible if you didn't work a job. The few parking spots on the street (there is no reserved parking for the complex) were only available around the early afternoon. After that you would have to park 2 to 3 blocks away. While living there, the apartments went through 4 different managers ( because they kept getting fired) and each was incompetent and unprofessional. When I moved out and did the final walk through, there were no damages to my apartment, and the manager told me I would be getting my deposit back ( I paid $500 ). Three weeks later, I called to find out when I would be getting it back because in washington it is the law for apartments to give back a deposit within two weeks. The manager Rachelle seemed surprised that I had not received it yet, so I called up her supervisor at RP Management to inquire about it. The lady's name was Karen, she was extremely rude and said I would not be receiving it due to damages that were previously there from before I moved in, cigarette burns in particular,(I as well as my family are nonsmokers.) Yes these injuries were noted in the walk through before me moved in, Yes, THe manager completely ingnored the above mentioned walkthrough. If you move into this place, get a lawyer, or you won't get a deposit back!
