I agree with the previous two reviews... This place is good for what you pay.

Apt's are pretty large with a personal grage. They charge an extra $10 a month to use the electric opener though (optional). Apt also includes storage locker in the basement (5FTX4FT)

Range, Dishwasher, and fridge are all lower-end appliances and from (likely) late 80's. Could be better... but they work ok. My electrical bills in 50 degree-ish temps were about $75 per month.

Apt's are very well soundproofed, minus the ceiling/floors. And I have to disagree with the other review that you could hear bikers late at night... I never hear any.

It is near a water treatment plant and does smell at night sometimes (maybe once or twice a month) during summer. Not a big deal, other buildings are much closer to the treatment plant.

Manager can be grumpy at times... and his wife looks like she is the 100 year old cript keeper. He keeps the lawn nice and changes burnt light bulbs in the halways quickly. I wouldn't count on much more then that from him though. Also-- they do park where ever the **** they want to!!!

Walls were also not painted when we moved in. Spots were patched and repainted (some spots look ok... others look bad).

Area is great!! Really a lot to do. Walk to basically anything you want (lake, park, stores, bar, schools, ect).

Overall I would suggest looking into this place... It's pretty good!!

Fist of all I have to say it was there when I needed it. The on site manager is a real work of art!!!!!!!! He and his son and crabby wife oh my gosh!!! They park where ever they **** well please including on the city street. If we parked up in frount nearest the door we would get a note on our car and papers under our door saying it was for visitors only. Why am I paying for visitors to have a good parking space??? So if I go shopping I had to park in the back behind the garages and walk to the door about 50+ feet try to unlock the door and make it up 2 fleights of stairs. If it required more than one trip you were too pooped to unpack them. I have to say except for the crappy onsite manager and his lovely family, and the over priced laundry facility that is in the basement and only 2 of each. the place was not so bad

The apartments are larger than any others we looked at. The kitchen is a slightly on the small side but does have a disposal and dishwasher. Garages are good sized but they make you pay extra if you want to use the door opener. We even have a storage locker in the basement.

Walls were not really painted between tenats. They just used putty on the holes then painted over it. Carpets were not cleaned like promised. I rented a carpet cleaner and found lots of dirt. Appliances are old so they need a little more TLC.

Very drafty. Around windows and electric outlets(outside walls) air rushes in. Always can hear upstairs person's TV, radio and bathroom noises. Tenats above and to the side of us smoke, so our bedroom and half bathroom always stink.

Good outside lighting in a safe neigborhood. Lawn is well taken care of by the onsite manager. Parking lot is not cleared in winter unless there is a substantial amount of snow. The snow turns to ice and gets really slippery. Walkways around the building are cleaned often.

For some reason there are quite of few divorced men in our building and they have a habit of going down to the laundry room in just their boxers. A bit inappropriate!

Located on the road to a biker bar means lots of loud motorcycles at all hours. Also, water treatment plant located behind building (about 700 feet). When the wind is right, the smell is ripe. Yuck!
