Review for Sunrise Heights Apartments

Renting at Sunrise Heights has been my worst experience ever. Work orders were never taken care of. I had to live in my apartment in the heat of the summer without any window screens. It got so hot in my place I had to leave the windows open, and I routinely woke up covered in bug bites. Put in 4 different work orders and they were never taken care of. Each time I put in a new work order for the same thing managment denied the fact that I put in previous work orders for the screens. The thing that really got to me was after putting the 5th work order in the management looked right at me and said, "You have my word somebody will be over either today or tomorrow to fix that." Needless to say that never happened. Over my one and a half years of residency the pool was never open yet they continued to use the pool as a selling point. The hallways were always filthy and smelly probably because they were never cleaned. Now that I finally got out of that dump management refuses to return my security deposit even though I have a form saying there was no damage. The form says right on it "refund amount = $290." They refuse to give me the correct amount. I guess I have to get a lawyer! I do not recommend this place to anybody.

One last thing I forgot to mention is this is not a safe place. Routinely heard couples screaming at one another in the middle of the night. I was woke up one night by cops breaking in and arresting the person below me. Lots of drug dealing on the property.
