To the south and west of Parkside at Estabrook Apartments are several parks including Meaux Park, Estabrook Park, and Milwaukee Greenway. About a mile away is the Upper Crust Pizza, and just past that is N. Santa Monica Blvd with four bus stops along the roadway. Past renters appreciated the convenience of establishments such as CVS, Dairy Queen, a dry cleaners, gas station, and several restaurants, which are all within walking distance. Willow Court Apartments are about six miles from Milwaukee Bay. Getting some exercise in the outdoors is no problem with North Hills Country Club, the Uihlein Soccer Park, and Tripoli Golf Club so close. James Madison Academic Campus is literally down the road. Mill Road Shopping Center and Grandville Substation are about two blocks east of the apartment complex. If you are an outdoors lover, there are several small parks in the surrounding area including Clovernook Playground for the kids, Little Menomonee River Park, and Haskell Noyes Park, perfect for a day out with family or friends. This apartment building was built in an era of solid construction and old world charm. Himount Gardens Apartments boast newly refinished hardwood floors, new carpet, original crown molding, built in china cabinets and linen closets, paneled wood doors and trim. The kitchens and bathrooms have also been updated and floor plans from studio to two bedroom are available. The location in the central part of downtown puts you minutes from everything Milwaukee has to offer from night life to public transit to nearby employers.
