After losing my house to the bank, my family and I moved into a Benkowski apartment in South Milwaukee. Overall is was a good experience with very little to complain about. We're now back into a house, but would rent from Benkowski again if we needed to. Hope this review helps.

Just moved from Chicago to South Milwaukee for work. My family and I rented from Benkowski Builders and got a very nice apartment for a reasonable monthly rate

i've lived in better. as far as the neighborhood...home and car have been broken into and my bike was stolen from the yard, among other personal belongings. the windows need to be replaced, very inefficient. high-traffic berber carpets are old. dated kitchen and bath layed with ugly, cheap commercial tile...which also needs to be replaced. the grass on the property is 'balding' and there are dirt patches that need seeding. owner is difficult to talk to and feels he is always right. i'm thankful i found a new place to live when i did.

I very much enjoyed living in a Benkowski Building. They took care of things promptly, and appeared to care about their tenants.
