Not too bad for the price ( over a year ago )

If your looking for a cheap place to live, this is it. The units are great for 545. That being said, you get what you pay for. The units are decently spacious, however the bathroom is tiny. You have to share a balcony that isn't even big enough for one apartment, and only the uppers get one. They are pretty old, so sitting next to the window during the winter even with the heat on will require a down comforter. The appliances are equally as old and you can definitely tell when the oven takes 20 minutes to preheat. There are washer/dryer hookups in the basement which is nice and you also get storage in the basement. Parking can be a bit of a hassle when your neighbors inviolate everybody and their mother and they don't use the visitor parking spaces of which there are plenty but a bit farther from the complexes than the tenant parking. We've been living here for two years now and nothing as far as vandalism has happened to us personally. There is a nice big courtyard right in the middle of all the apartments which is nice if you have kids, and there is also Jackson park right across the street. All in all, you wont find a better two bedroom for the price. I didn't mind living here but now that we can afford something better we wont be hesitant to move.
