I have lived in this apartment building for the past 3 years, and it has gone downhill in that time. I like the size of the 3 bedroom apartment I have rented and the fact that I have an indoor parking space, but that is about it. The air conditioning (which is a service our rent is supposed to go toward) did not work for more than 50% of last summer because management never fixed it due to price. Also, the condition of the carpeting, paint, wallpaper, etc. inside the common areas is terrible. I have never seen the carpet cleaned in the 3 years that I have lived here, and the wallpaper on the inside of the elevators is grossly peeling and has never been fixed in 3 years. The indoor parking in the basement leaks rusty water onto vehicles. Much like the air conditioning, the management claims that this cannot be fixed. Overall, I have no idea what my rent money goes toward as I have not seen basic upkeep of the building. My rent has been increased again and I am finally fed up, so we are moving.
