St James Place Apartments sits off by itself along West Fountain Ave. There are a couple of bed and breakfasts nearby, including the Hilton Garden Inn Wilwaukee Park Place and Comfort Suites Park Place. Residents with teens attending Vincent High School will enjoy its close proximity, about a mile away. The local Walgreen's is also less than 3 miles from the premises and makes it easy to pick up last minute essentials. As of March 2013 there have been no reviews written by past tenants.

Genuinely enjoyed my time at St. James Place for my first year or so, then the new management came in. I have never met a group that was less competant and more greedy to nickle and dime you to death. The maintenance requests took days to take care of and were often poorly done. In addition, I hope you don't plan on getting your deposit back. Despite the fact my family and I spent two entire days cleaning the apartment at move out, they took all but $50 from my deposit. When I called them to ask about why so much was taken, they informed me I hadn't cleaned all of the things I had spent the last couple of days cleaning. Turns out the maintenance crew had moved the dryer out of my unit and created quite a mess, which I coinsidently got charged for. Very poor management and a very good chance your car will have one less window in the morning.
