Apartment Review for Carriage Way Apartments

The management staff at the complex are unresponsive and indifferent to the needs of the tenants. I had to complain multiple times about the roof leaking. My kitchen table was damaged by the leaking roof. After complaining, the manager said to make sure to move my things when I thought it was going to rain. He gave excuses why it was taking so long to be fixed. It is finally fixed (at least I think) but the ceiling is damaged in multiple spots. Every fall the management does an inspection of the units but doesn't have anything fixed unless you call multiple times to complain. Because of the leaking roof the ceiling is damaged in multiple spots and even after the annual inspection in 2005 the damage to the ceiling has not been fixed. In addition to the leaky room the plumbing is poor. My bathtub has clogged up at least twice. My bathroom sink clogs every 6 to 8 months. The maintenance person only works 8-4 and I prefer to be home for repairs but work 8-5. The management will not be flexible with the availability of when the maintenance person can do repairs. If I want to be home when the maintenance person comes in I have to stay here and wait from 8 to 4. I have tried to request the maintenance person to be available in the morning or late afternoon for the repairs but they will not accomodate my requests at all. <P>
