Apartment Review for The Monterey

Absolutely zero security except for local police who don't patrol the complex. The place is a dump. I live in a dog building which is the best thing about the whole place. Worst neighbors in the world, I compare it to a ghetto. Under ground parking is poorly maintained. Management has rules about common areas(e.g. hallway, parking area, etc...)but does not enforce. Cigarette butts everywhere; including the parking area and the lawn, but like I said a frigg'n ghetto. And don't even think about speedy service, just took 4 1/2 DAYS for maintanence to clean up a mess outside my apartment that had zero to do with any work done on mine. They remove a squirrel nest from the second floor and threw it down on the ground where my dogs could get into it. Speaking of dogs, did I mention a neighbor's dog poops in the underground parking area??? Watch your step...Oh did I also mention GHETTO??? What a F___KING DUMP!!! Management?? Nice people, but nice doesn't get the job done. Maintanence is another sore spot...just don't have anything fixed, then it won't be as bad as it was before it was fixed. My upstairs neighbors suck for noise. Turn up your TV or radio, everyone else does. To assign a rating to this place that's even above zero is really a crime that I will need to beg God to forgive when I die!!! Hope this helps your decision top rent here. <P>
