Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings
Great changes made... ( over a year ago )

This place is nothing like the last review I read here. Management was in the office, and answered the phones. If something broke, they where there with in 24 hours every time I called.
I just closed my windows when I did not want a draft any more. That helped out my propane bill a lot.
Parking was nothing to brag about, but if you needed, just rent a garage from them and that solved the problem.
All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a nice place. I was very pleased.

These were the first apartments I have ever lived in and I have to say they were not my favorite! When I had questions or concerns about my apartment they were HORRIBLE at answering my messages, or ever being in the office for that matter! Often I would call first thing in the morning around 9 am and leave a message and after not hearing from them all day I would have to call back around 4 pm.

Also, for the amount of space the apartments have, rent is ridiculous! The apartments are ALWAYS cold... There are drafts that come from all the windows which makes the heating bills higher, which of course is not paid by them. The apartments are also very noisy, I could hear alost everything that every neighbor around me was doing, sometimes even what they were saying! Maintenance is almost impossible to get to! The facilities that are available have bad hours and the pool was only open for what seemed like a month. It would be nice if the gym had long hours, maybe even open 24 hours!

The appearance of the inside of the apartments is new and clean, however I think that the floor plan has alot of wasted space. I would not recommend this apartment to any of the people who are in need of an apartment.

Our first night was very loud. The neighbors had their music turned up and the bass was very loud. After about a half an hour, someone knocked on the door and it was the neighbors. They appologized for the loud music and said that they didn't realize anyone had moved in and they would turn it down immediately. All the neighbors have been very friendly though I still here the thumping bass occasionally. You can't smell any cigarette smoke in our apartment at all and I know that one of the adjacent neighbors smokes. The apartment itself is roomy and we all have really grown accustomed to the place. Since moving here, our utility bills have been lower. The appliances are "hot point" brand so don't expect chef quality stoves but they work well and our dishwasher cleans and doesn't melt your tupperware. It took quite a while and a ton of paperwork to finally get approved. Once approved the staff got us into the apartment right away. Location to the city isn't bad. All main roads pretty much intersect around you but it isn't terribly busy. The grounds are kept up and there aren't junk vehicles or trash problems anywhere that I've seen. The City Police Department's Nuisance division has never had a complaint about junk, junk vehicles, weeds, or snow/ice. Most people look out for each other here. There was a hit and run a month ago but the suspect was not a resident and with the help of watchful helpful neighbors, he was tracked down and received more than a couple tickets. The pool was fun while it was open and the basketball court and fitness room are close by and clean. Parking isn't bad. Neighbor kept parking in our spot but after asking nicely, he stopped. We were told by the office to call the maintanence people.

Built in 1998, These apartments are in good condition as well as location. On the corner of N. College and E. Pershing, they're with in a short drive to Frontier Mall, the main post office, or Wal-mart on Dell Range Blvd, and plenty of stores on E. Pershing blvd, with walking distance to a Wells Fargo bank and several convenience stores.
The property itself is fenced and well maintained. As far as maintanence goes, top notch! When I first moved in, I had written a list of pre existing problems, and they came out with in 10 minutes to assess the condition. Carpet was replaced prior to my move in.
The units themselves have a practical layout with natural wood colors that will match just about anything you throw at em, however, they do very nice on their own. Every unit has either a balcony or a patio as well as a full sized Washer and Dryer utility closet. As far as Noise goes, it wasn't a huge problem. The entry doors close on their own and sometimes youd hear a neighbor's door slam. Aside from that, there's not alot of yelling and you can rarely hear your neighbors through the walls! Traffic noise from College and Pershing is mild.
My apartment unit had a tendancy to swing in temperatures. With the bedroom window open, the bedroom would stay cool and the living room would get a bit warm, Although, the in-wall air conditioning unit usually did the trick.
Management is not only friendly, but flexible and understanding. They seemed to have a genuine concern for my needs. They knew my name before I moved in!
The only problems I had with the property are income restrictions. If you are to live with a roommate, I suggest working out the devision of hours, income, and expenses before hand. Fitness Center and on-site laundry facilities are pretty good, but only open from 9am to 8pm. This was a slight inconvenience for me. I think the fitness center could have used a couple more cardio machines as well.
As far as parking goes, it's adequate, but only one parking space is assigned per apartment unit, So with more than one vehicle you would need to either swap places with guest parking stalls or park just outside the fence on N. College Drive.
