Would be better if cared for

This place could be a nice place to live, but it's a dump. Everything is falling apart and nothing ever gets fixed. Our AC was out all summer and every winter our heat goes out for weeks. The management company doesn't pay bills so water and trash services keep getting shut off and the dumpsters overflow. No plumbers or electricians will come out to service anything because the management company doesn't pay its bills. We had our sewer backing up and couldn't get anyone to fix it because of that.
The grounds look like crap, there's dead trees and bare dirt everywhere, and the sidewalks and parking lot are crumbling. There's no way it's ADA accessible as they claim with large cracks and upheaved sections of sidewalk.
It's supposed to be low income, but the rents go up by $100 or more every year and by the time we moved out, rent was the same as anywhere else in town. At least anywhere else in town we go we won't have to go through all the paperwork. Every year we have to do our application paperwork over again, which requires giving this company every detail of our employment, finances, even tuition information and whether or not we got cash for holiday gifts.
Their ads posted on Craigslist and other sites claim it's "affordable luxury living" but it's neither affordable nor luxury. Better to skip this place altogether until a more responsible company is running it.
