Tempe is another city in Arizona State’s Maricopa County with an estimated population of 169,712 people. In fact, the city is a major suburb of Phoenix and is located immediately southeast, while the upscale suburb of Scottsdale is towards the north. It is the headquarters and executive office of the widely popular US Airways, and also the main campus of the Arizona State University. It is also famous for hosting one of the nation’s largest New Year’s Eve parties. The event typically has a national band heading a concert, along with several other local and national bands.
