Some of the shopping centers like Arrowhead Town Center are bit more removed, but renters can easily dine out at restaurants such as Tony’s Cocktail Lounge, Golden Dragon, and Scopo’s on 59th Street. Renter reviews say the maintenance team has been wonderful, however because of the change of management there have been some transition problems. Sun Creek has been praised by resident reviewers for its wonderful apartments and great management. There are no issues with parking and the complex is pet friendly. There have been some noise complaints; however the location cannot be beat. Sun Creek is right on the edge of the Thunderbird School of Global MGT. There are plenty of parks in this section of Glendale, including Acoma Park and Country Gables Park. Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is also close by. The Coves at Newport is located right across from Arizona State University West. The property offers students and staff a perfect location and an easy commute to the university. Rayner’s Chocolate and Coffee Shop, Calzona Foods Inc, and Cooper Door Bar are just some restaurants in the neighborhood. There are also a few parks that are placed near The Coves like Sunset Palms Park and Cactus Park. Located right on the edge of Skunk Creek are the apartments of Indigo Creek, which off a view of the shore. Across the way is Greenbrier Park which offers the tenants the opportunity to get in tune with the outdoors. Reviews comment on the great staff and how helpful they have been. There are some updates that may be needed, however nothing over the top. The layout is nice and there is tranquil atmosphere at night, which only adds to this great and safe community. However, there are some who say noise can be an issue, while others would like to see security tightened. Regardless, the location is perfect for all tenants, especially those affiliated with the Thunderbird School of Global MGT.
