Maryland Greens is right by a bus line and a few minutes away from I-17. Just down the street, tenants can find a variety of restaurants from Chen & Wok to Jordan’s Mexican and Jack in the Box. For convenient grocery shopping, Healthy Habits Health Food, Safeway, and Luci’s Healthy Marketplace are all less than a mile from the property. Reviewers commented that the apartments are very quiet, despite the age of the building, and found the grounds to be well-kept. Camelback Cove Apartments are perfect for quick access to 51 and are within walking distance of several stops. Camelback Colonade provides plenty of shopping with stores like: Bed Bath & Beyond, Marshall's, Pier 1 Imports, Trader Joe's, and Best Buy. The Phoenix Public Library is also minutes from the complex. A wide array of restaurants are in the neighborhood as well; Lonestar Steakhouse, Arriba Mexican Grill, and McDonald's to name a few. With the Arizona Opera down the street, catching a show is a cinch. Although the location has a lot to offer, tenants report bed bug problems and unresponsive management. Fountains in the Green are in the ideal location for members of Phoenix Country Club, which is a walk-able distance from the property. Residents can easily take the light rail, which stops down the street. Arizona Heart Hospital and the Phoenix Children's Hospital are both less than a mile in the opposite direction. Resident reviews feel rent is reasonable, especially considering the area, but have voiced concerns about infestation issues. Partenza On Highland is found just off of Piestewa Freeway on East Highland Avenue. Getting to downtown Phoenix is a quick commute with the number of bus stations available to tenants in the area. The Madison Park Shopping Center is steps way and provides easy shopping for residents. Occupants can shop at Marshall's, Bed Bath & Beyond, or Best Buy. Some reviewers are dissatisfied with the safety of the area and the constant changes in management.
