This is a great complex located close to shopping and convenient to much of what living in Tucson offers. The square footage of each layout is large and the tile roof makes an attractive topper to southwestern style architecture. Unlike other apartments Orange Tree offers a bbq and picnic area as well as tennis courts in addition to the more typical pool. Inside a fireplace and a separate dining room are just a couple of the ways the interiors are superior. The neighbors are friendly and people are responsible with the pet policies. I love the views! Casas Adobes lies 7 miles north of downtown Tucson, close to I-10 and the Catalina Foothills. Residents can easily eat and shop at the nearby Oracle Plaza, where Bed Bath and Beyond, T.J. Maxx, and several delis are located. For recreation, tenants can check out the yoga, ballroom dance, and martial arts centers down Oracle Road. Despite the convenient area, recent reviews say that maintenance is slow to respond and slow to fix problems. Sundown Village Apartments is located less than a mile from two shopping centers that include Walmart, Safeway, Kohl’s, and more. Reviewers in early 2012 enjoyed the number of outdoor opportunities like Catalina State Park, Saguaro National Park, and smaller parks afforded, citing close-by bike trails and hiking trails as a perk of the location. However, past tenants had problems with an unresponsive management and unruly neighbors. Transportation can also be tricky; one reviewer struggled for three years to get a closer parking space. Sun River is located on North La Cañada Drive, in the northern suburbs. The property enjoys easy access to Interstate 10, for quick passage to all parts of Tucson. Sun River boasts an Albertson’s Market, Whataburger, and Starbucks right around the corner. And tenants can also make a short trip to the Tucson Mall, which is just down the road, if they want to go on a shopping spree. Reviews of Sun River are especially complimentary. Many reviewers praise the complex for not only being in a great location, but also having some of the kindest staff and incredibly competent maintenance staff; a great apartment complex to be sure.
